Last night Ivan Noonan and Jeremy Keans added their names to the list, and already this morning we've got two more! Scott Underhill and Tommy Coughlan are on board, and we're at 17 cars and still climbing!

I've been away for the last couple of days, and wasn't surprised to find THREE more entries waiting for me when I checked my email a few minutes ago! That puts us at 20 cars with five days still to go before the race! There are still several race-ready car owners yet to be heard from, so it's likely the number will grow yet again!
Series regulars Dave Garland and Greg Nickerson have now contacted me to confirm their attendance, and in addition we have yet another first time racer signed up for our series! Veteran racer Cory Sprague debuted his '72 Dart Crate Motor combo earlier this year at PEI, but opted to get a few shakedown passes on it before he joined the Stock/Super Stock wars. Welcome aboard Cory!
The addition of Points Leader Greg Nickerson to our Entry List makes an already steep road just a little steeper for those seeking to surpass him in points before the end of the year. I did a little checking, and there are still eight racers with a mathematical chance to pass Greg in the two remaining races. One of those guys; John Armstrong, is competing at the US Nats in Indy this weekend (so he's out), but all of the seven other guys are on our Entry List for Race 4. Will Greg continue to collect round wins and lock up his second championship in a row, or will someone knock him out earlier and open the door to an upset? There's plenty of drama left in this points chase, so be sure to get over to PEI this Saturday if you can!

Well it didn't take very long for our list of entries to grow yet again! Lloyd Keirstead expects to be racing his crate motor Camaro with us in PEI. Welcome back Lloyd!

With just three more days to go the weather forecast is looking great; no rain and 19 to 20 degrees which should give us an extra boost in the ET department compared to the hot weather so far this year. Here are a few other tidbits to share:
While we have another racer that expects to be there he has some things that he has to take care of to make it happen, so he's requested that we leave his name off the list for now. If he makes it and everyone else does as well, we will tie our record high field!
I was asked last night if this race will be 1/8th mile like Race 2. The answer is yes; this race in PEI will also be run in the 1/8th mile format.
For those of you who will be there Friday; it is our intention to have Tech on Friday evening so that we can get as many cars as possible teched in and only have a handful to do Saturday morning.
