Looks like a lot of work and a lot of fun. ;D The only question I would ask is who is the mechanic on this project? The reason I ask is that it when I look at the 5th photo with the engine on the stand it looks pretty complete but there seems to be 8 pistons and rods on the floor. Sorta makes me think someone may have overlooked a minor point. Then again they are missing in subsequent photos -

Mitch, I wanted to lighten the rotating assembly so I removed the pistons and rods. Are they needed? ?? I thought they were just there to look cool when you removed the cylinder heads!!!!! LOL! Given that the blower wouldn't like 11 to 1 compression, I picked up a set of forged JE blower pistons and what is on the floor are the high compression domed ones that I had originally. Keith
