WOW! Great looking project! Love those Vega's, will look forward to seeing it this summer. I hope to have my Pinto ready for the summer also. Pintos and Vegas are two of my favorite cars. Although your car looks way more serious than mine!! Check out my project. Pinto Project Journal

Anybody know what ball joints are used in Bears lower control arms? I have a set out of a new set of mustang II control arms but they dont seam to fit ,obviously there is more than one screw in ball joint for Mopar,I can buy them from Bears but the shipping is killing me from Ont every time I need something. I would like to order something local if I knew what fit???

Darrell, screw in Mopar ball joints only come in 2 different sizes( I think... that is all I have come across ) big or small, you do mean the ball joints that take the special socket to install them,if so get upper ball joints to fit an 87 to 90 2wd Dakota, uppers are the screw in style that I believe you are looking for. Hope this helps.... Sam Using the heartbeat from the Nova or building a new one.

NICE, NICE, NICE!!!! Great to see another vega in the works. I have a 74 Vega GT with a 350 crate motor in it, And am now in the process of building/rebuilding a tubed Vega for my Dad.(new 383 stroker, on nitrous, with tranny brake). Hope his turns out half as good as the job that you are doing!! Congrats on a job well done so far. Greg
