I would definitely go with the Vega! A high-winding small block Chevy in a Vega is a total giant killer. If it was good enough for Grumpy Jenkins in '72...."The 331 cubic-inch small-block, tube framed Vega trumped the hemi Mopars and changed Pro Stock forever, ushering in the tube frame chassis Pro Stock racers."
Cheers, Keith

That is a tough decision. For dragstrip use I would go with the Malibu - short wheelbase cars like Vegas are notoriously ill handling beasts. But for a street car the "cool" factor of the Vega can't be beat(especially an early one). Looks like it already has 5 bolt wheels on the front too. There is quite a difference in weight also. I think the Malibu would be "too easy" of a build - Go for the Vega ;D ;D

No Question ! Go with the Vega ! Even though it may be more work ......the finished product will be much more rewarding. It has a style that will capture peoples attention in a positive way. Everyone loves muscle cars from the 60's & 70's.
