: -- Well Rob this issue sure would drive a huge stake into the wallets of all those who require the good stuff to suite their needs. Can this issue be scraped or extended again? Without having to change camshafts and pistons i wonder if Pro Fuels in Mississauga still sells their race stuff to fill the gap? I remember that jetting and possibly timing had to be addressed when using their fuel. With all the "B.S." concerning the environment by people that are not in the know with regards to motorsports, some like to "SABRE RATTLE" all the way to Ottawa. Sure we all should try to do what we can to protect the planet but come on, full throttle on the weekend for a few hours doesn't even come close to one flyover by a 737. Time to call my M.P. again. --

im just curious as to how the extension is up in 2010? i thought that last time we went through all this that it was extended for 5 years. that seemed like an awful short 5 years.

Guys if you have to go to Pro Fuels you will lose absolutely nothing in performance. You might even pick up a bit. Mark 5 is equivalent to Q16/C16 and Mark 4 is good to around 13:1. Yes you will need to Jet up a few sizes but that is all you will have to do, timing is not affected. We have all been running Pro Fuels in NL for many years with great results. Cost is about the same. Dave A

-- Thanks Dave. Is Mitch still the guy that you contact and are they located at the same spot? I remember he was the VHT dealer. The Canucks might have to say goodbye to VP Fuels.

The document does beg the question as to wether or not these enviromental studiesare being conducted aroundthe airports who have a permanent exemption to this.
As AVgas contains 9 times more lead than pre 1972 leaded gasoline - you would think they'd be concerned. Or perhaps Cesna owners have much more pull than us..
